FAQS WHY SELF STORAGE? · For the homeowner, self-storage is obvious. Whether buying, selling, renovating, moving or downsizing, self-storage is generally the most cost effective option. · For the business professional, self-storage is advantageous for record retention or other business needs. As a business person, consider how much you are paying for each cubic foot of storage and I assure that for items that are not frequently needed on-site, self-storage is less expensive. CLIMATE-CONTROLLED OR CONVENTIONAL STORAGE? Climate-controlled space is for all items that would be damaged by fluctuations in temperature or humidity; this includes but not limited too, books, upholstered furniture, bedding, clothing, documents and records. Conventional storage is for yard and most garage items. WHAT CANNOT BE STORED IN SELF-STORAGE? Hazardous items such as, explosive, caustic, corrosive or toxic materials are not permitted. Items that fit this description, include but are not limited to, containers of gasoline, diesel or kerosene oil, paint, acetone and compressed gas. HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED? WHAT ARE YOUR STORAGE RATES? WHAT ARE MY ACTUAL MOVE-IN COSTS? WHAT IS THE MINIMUM/MAXIMUM TIME THAT I CAN STORE? HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO MOVE-IN? WHAT DOCUMENTATION DO I NEED TO RENT A UNIT? WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION? · Office: Both OmniStorage, Inc. location offices are open 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Both offices are closed Sunday. · Gate: At our Bolivia location our gate is open 7:00am – 8:00pm, seven days a week all year long. At our Shallotte location our gate is open 7:00am – 6:00pm, during Standard Time and 7:00am – 7:00pm, during Daylight Savings Time, seven days a week all year long. |
